This print of "Dripping with Positivity" is bright, fun and energetic. It is an art print of a watercolor painting of a sunflower that embodies warmth and positivity.

My inspiration for this piece was my own journey of dealing with depression and making the conscious choice to live more positively.

The sunflower is the epitome of positivity, in that it always faces the light. One of the most empowering moments for me in my life was when I made the decision that I will never see myself as a victim, but rather, as a survivor. I tried to convey that sense of power and magnetism, particularly in the center of the flower which is the main focal point. I used unusual mixtures, granulating colors and salt technique to create a unique center of strength for the flower.

The petals radiate outward, and their color is speckled and spattered outside to represent the fact that a positive attitude can impact others in beautiful ways.

  • Medium: This is a HIGH QUALITY PHOTOGRAPH of an original watercolor painting made on paper
  • Dimensions: roughly 5" X 6.5" or 8.3" x 11.7" (Print will have a slight border around it to make it easier to frame. FRAME NOT INCLUDED)

  • Styling suggestion: This piece works well on a table or desk or can be placed on a small wall by itself.  It will also work well on a gallery wall with other small pieces with a similar color/theme.

Care Instructions

Please handle original art with cotton gloves to prevent smudging and fingerprints.

Remove artwork from packaging as soon as possible - packaging materials are meant to protect the artwork so that it reaches you safely, but they are not ideal for long-term storage of your artwork.

I do my best to make sure that the pigments I use for original works are light-fast, however, to ensure that your art retains its beauty for years to come, please avoid placing in direct sunlight.

For best results, ask your framer for UV Protective glass when framing your original art and prints.
