This watercolor piece depicting a sunset inspires a more serious, contemplative mood.  It is best placed in a room with  dark colors and/or finishes.

For me, this painting was about saying goodbye.

How do you say goodbye to the very thing that lit up your world? That gave you energy and life itself?

How do you say goodbye, knowing that your world will be plunged into coldness and darkness?

You say goodbye knowing that the parting is inevitable, and with the certainty that no matter how long and dark the night, you’ll see the sun again.

  • Medium: Watercolor on Paper
  • Dimensions: 8.3" x 11.7" (A border was left around the artwork to make it easier for matting and framing - FRAME NOT INCLUDED)

  • Styling suggestion: This piece would look great on a shelf or would bring interest to a small wall or hallway.

Care Instructions

Please handle original art with cotton gloves to prevent smudging and fingerprints.

Remove artwork from packaging as soon as possible - packaging materials are meant to protect the artwork so that it reaches you safely, but they are not ideal for long-term storage of your artwork.

I do my best to make sure that the pigments I use for original works are light-fast, however, to ensure that your art retains its beauty for years to come, please avoid placing in direct sunlight.

For best results, ask your framer for UV Protective glass when framing your original art and prints.
